I have spoken to Brian by phone a few times. He sounds tired and I think it is a lot of hard work out in the sweltering sun. He said it is beautiful and interesting there though. I think he is getting a lot of work done. He has had some interesting experiences I will let him share with you when he returns, especailly surrounding the hygeine regimen, or lack thereof, he is forced to have there!
nicole, i have wanted to go to china for a while. did some reading on the subject. there certainly are problems over there. when will he return. hope he is taking lots of pix and puts himself in if possible. tell to him be safe there. love to you both. cathy

He actually moves every 3 days or so because the reef he is studying is miles and miles long. Sometimes he is in a hotel, sometimes he is staying with locals so it is hard to track him!

His wedding was July 27th.
